Tidbits: A teaching generation

Why is it always a little kid talking about computers? Every time I look up anything for computers it’s always a little kid trying to teach you.

The comment was thumbed up on this video, Xcode Tutorial: How to make your first 3.0 iPhone/iPod app!. The video in itself is not important, but the person who made it: Michael Ortiz. A sixteen year old, who started coding when he was thirteen.

I’ve also noticed, like the commenter above, that more and more  often I stumble upon technical reviews/how-to videos made by teenagers. And this reminds me of a talk by Chris Anderson on How Web Video Powers Innovation. Just an observation, but it does spark ideas for a future where people share their knowledge on a grand scale.
